Osprey, Dyke Marsh Marina, Alexandria, VA. This nest platform is very close to shore but they seem to like it. There are so many osprey in the area maybe they can't be too choosy in selecting nest sites. Picture taken May 21st, but I'm just getting around to posting it. I was on the Dyke Marsh birdwalk.
